...what a surprise! Seems you're the first mate from abroad - at least the first one communicating in English . I wonder how you've found this page?!?!? Anyway, a difficult question you choose to start with. I do not know whether you're living in Germany alrady or if you are just going to do some work here but I am sure you know the Germans and how keen we are in terms of regulations, don't you. There are many! The major rules are to be found in: "Bauordnung". Unfortunately it's unique - more or less - in different federal states...
One has also consider the kind of public building e.g. shopping mall, museum, school etc. Not easy and I reckon if you are going to take that serious and not just for interest try to get professional support.

Ich freue mich, dass die Sifapage international ist. Aber leider kann ich weder Italienisch, sondern nur ein bisschen Englisch, aber wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, dann will er die Brandschutzvorschriften für Gebäude in Deutschland. Warum will das ein Italiener? Kann mir das jemand verraten?

Warum will das ein Italiener?
Hallo, (soviel Zeit muss sein für eine Begrüßung )die Antwort kann wohl nur filippo geben.
Ich spekuliere aber weiter:
Ich hatte vor vier Jahren die Anfrage, ob ich unsere Niederlassung in Mailand als SiFa (kennt dort niemand) bzw. als Safety Manager betreuen kann und darf. Die Sache ist im Sand verlaufen, inhaltlich konnte ich diese aber nicht abschließend beantworten.Was ich daraus gelernt habe: Wir (zumindest ich) werden uns wohl darauf einstellen müssen, in naher Zukunft europäische "SiFas" als direkte Kollegen in Deutschland zu haben.
Wobei diese Kollegen wohl eher "Manager Health and Safety" sein werden. Masterstudium Beirat
Die Freizügigkeit der Berufswahl und Wohnort läßt grüßen.Sebastiano aus Catania ist übrigens sehr nett und macht einen guten Job.
