    Halli hallo

    Mein Name ist Marcus. Ich befinde mich gerade in die Praktikumsphase der Ausbildung zur SiFa. Ich Arbeite in einem Mittelständigen Unternehmen mit ca.200 Mitarbeiter.
    Wir bauen und montieren Edelstahlbehälter und -rohrleitungen für verschiedenen Industrien. Da ich mich gerade in die Praktikumsphase befinde wurde ich mir ganz gerne einigen Praktikusberichte anschauen. So wie ich erfahren habe muss man mindestens 10 Beiträge veröffentlichen, eher man in die gesperrte Archiv Bereich kommen kann. Ich werde mir mühe geben diese zu erreichen.

    Health and Safety Officer – Key responsibility.LEADERSHIP & ORGANIZATION.· Support management of safety policy, rules and standards implementation and in all aspects of HSMS deployment.· Make sure safety is part of regular operational meetings (Morning meetings, tool box talk, site coordination meeting, and support management in this process.· Draws up and ensure the implementation and follow up safety improvement/action plan.· Health and safety officer is an active member of the Plant safety network.· Prepares and actively take part in in the mandatory safety committee meetings.· Uses actively best practice and relevant lessons learnt from safety alerts, serious event review (SER), and other local initiative for local application.· Participates at the definition and applies the initiative for Punishment and award scheme in safety.· Liases with local H&S authorities, emergency organizations, bodies of control, insurance and all other health and safety partners.· Stop any work which is found to be unsafe in the plant, for safety purpose.· Helps cultivate health and safety awareness and practices within, by assisting local management in training, communicating and running highly participative health and safety committees.· Conduct regular risk assessment and inspections and ensure that all health and safety requirements are put into practice.· Provide personal contribution, support, tools and information necessary to heighten awareness in the H&S matters, and provide necessary expert advice in any safety concerns and issues when required.· Ensure necessary follow up for all task and activities within the factory, plant for safety purpose.RISK ASSESSMENT.· Controls the risk assessment and methodology of the staff and contractors and challenge their work, help them when necessary.· Analyses all aspects of the work in order to identify and reduce at risk situations and prevent unsafe behaviours.· Conducts site inspection by using appropriate tools to observe the risks and reduce unsafe situations or behaviours.· Drives at site level the process of occurred incident and accident analysis and ensures that each analysis is done in depth and follow by a suitable action plan.· Participates to audits and monitor the recommendations implementations of corrective actions.PREVENTION AND RISK CONTROL.· Ensures the control of risks by monitoring the technical compliance with the internal and external standards (design, technical specifications, and regulation requirements).· Take part in developing safety specific instructions in such a way that they can be followed without taking a risk.· Proposes to management, and implements management changes in work practices or equipment that will improve employee’s safety.· Guarantees the selection of the appropriate PPEs, makes sure they are provided and properly used, controls and challenges the use.· Participate in the implementation of the emergency procedures and make sure that they are effective and updated through regular tests.TRAINING AND COMMUNICATION.· Ensures safety communication and best practices sharing with appropriate means (Safety committee outcomes, safety campaign, safety alerts, serious event reviews, warning signs, safety dashboard).· Ensures that every new employee is receiving effective and recorded induction training before starting his/her activity.· Ensures all Contractors, visitors are given adequate safety induction before they are taken to any where in the factory, site.· Organizes and/or delivers the local appropriate required for a good operating system knowledge.· Challenges Contractors on their employees training, delivers additional ones when necessary.· Refreshes Managers, Supervisors and staff skills and risk awareness by training and communication action and tools.DOCUMENTATION AND DATA MANAGEMENT.· Ensures all relevant safety documentation is properly managed, available on request, archived and updated.· Ensures that all safety information from the plant, site, are available to any one.· Cascades down all new health and safety legal regulations and requirements to everyone for effective application.· Obtain all safety data by Contractors, listings, approvals or authorization required by regulations and standards.· Ensure all jobs, tasks, permit to work and approvals are well documented and archived within the plant for employees and contractors alike.
